scififreakerok, oddest thing happened when i came home today...
jumped on the computer, once again peeved that all of my open windows somehow mysteriously disappeared while i was away, and began re-searching for the websites i had been looking at before...looking through the history and all...i finally gave up, but when i went to type in another webtitle, i realized that the keyboard wasn't responding to anything. the lights(num lock, etc.) were lit, but even they didn't change when i hit those keys...
obviously, the problem's been fixed(well, i guess i could be copy+pasting individual letters from any of the other webpages, or just posting from another computer...), but i'm still not sure what went wrong. has anyone else had theirs stop working? i tried un/repluging it in, and restarting the computer(the mouse ended up getting disconnected from the system, too - which was fun), but only after a second attempt at restarting got everything back up. very creepy.
in the land of community service, things have been pretty slow at the media center. still getting my hours in, though, so i'm happy. got to mainly stay at the front desk and deal with minor problems with print jobs, then do a border for a corkboard in one of the computer labs...in other words, i finished the book i was reading, then had extra time to doodle a few henna sketches and draw the beginnings of a weird demon-ish face.
can't believe it's already friday, the week's sped by...though i certainly am glad for the weekend. i've been late-night depraved for a while now, and i really want a chance to sleep in for a change.
